Costume changes midstride,
First I was a โthisโ now a โthatโ.
Wind blows everything.

Through the span of life -
The unspeaking sentinel
Always at my core.

The thread woven thru -
Granting continuity:
I am ever the soul.

A short and incomplete list of things I have done/been: ARTIST-Child Care -key punch operator -Floor manager of key punch unit -Medical clerk and Receptionist in X-Ray department -Child Birth Educator -Teacher -MOTHER -HEALER -Registered Nurse *Oncology *Orthopedics *Community Educator *Hospice *Emergency Room -GRAMMA โฆ. .โฆ now โฆit seems, one who writes.

Through a life time most of us wear many hats โ pursue many avenues for making our mark on the life we have been given to live. Some of the ways we choose to spend our days, we find we resonate with more powerfully and more deeply than others.
As example, whereas I was always a nurse and especially a Hospice Nurse, I was never really an Emergency Room Nurse. My soul resonated with the peace and journey of hospice, but never really with the movement and frantic focus of the emergency room. I honor those who can carry the fire and fortitude of that ER environment. I often wondered why I was there. It was not an error to be there. So, accepting, I was there for a reason which at this time I do not fully understand. Accepting, that in someway there was a creating of balance and beauty in the ultimate sense. There was no error. We do not make wrong turns, however, it is none the less appropriate to make directions changes as the journey of life guides us.
On the other hand, from birth I was a Mother. Whether it was a tiny bug, a plastic baby doll or my dog Mitzi, I cared for them as mother for her child. If someone would purposely step on an insect, I was horrorfied that someone would without cause bring injury to a little one. In my world, โMotherโ has been the most profound career.
Here is what is important: To touch the hum of the universe inside of ourself where beauty and balance sings. When we feel that hum โ that Song of Love โ we are in the right place.
