The children cry and the society pretends not to hear. It would be inconvenient to hear the little ones’ cry -because if the society acknowledged the crying children, they would have to ‘do something’ or be labeled monster. So, they pretend not to hear, hiding their monster faces behind human masks.
The New Colossus knows the words on the plaque at her feet are now a lie … “A mighty woman with a torch - whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning - and her name- Mother of Exiles” … in sorrow she drops her torch into the cold waters of the Atlantic. Now it seems the dream is dying and there is no one to guide to safe harbor. Lady Liberties’ light is extinguished. Or is it?
A miracle is needed to stop the flow of blood and integrity. The heart of Lady Liberty is gravely wounded. She may fall and then, all the world will fall with her.
Warriors with the fortitude to go the distance are needed now. With hearts overflowing in prayer fueled by compassion, we must send out a cry to shake the foundations of a system of white washed and rotted sepulchers. Now is not a time for the weak hearted. Now is the time to stand. Free of the constraints of culture and ideology – free from the constraints of external religious paths – free from divisions of language: The mighty AMEN must rise. The mighty AMEN must vibrate within and without changing and purifying all it touches. The true warriors must find the sound of the mighty AMEN from deep within and send it’s healing vibration to all the earth NOW. There is not a moment to spare. Call out NOW … and then call again and again and again … for as long as it takes.
