Over and over
Forgiving myself lapses.
Each moment: fresh start.

From the time my grandchildren were very little, when one of the little ones would fall, their mothers/my daughters would, take their own hands and rub them across their own knees and say, “Just dust yourself off, you’re okay.” The little ones have learned now. When they fall they will stand up, dust off their knees and call out to their Mama, “I’m okay.” Then they keep going. That simple. They have learned that most scrapes and falls are not a big deal and they just dust themselves off and keep going. This attitude will carry them far.

As an adult as situations sometimes become more complex. When we fall the best thing to do in most cases is to pick ourselves up, dust off the suffering and keep going.
However, in additon:
• Learn the lesson the fall has brought
• Make sincere amends - Sometimes it is not enough to just say the words but sincere reparation may be needed -correct the error
• Set and keep sincere determination to not make the same error
• Continue in the direction of our true heart
