So many kinds of hunger assail on this earth walk. The hunger for kindness and compassion are the on the pinnacle of need, for these needs satisfied can move us from species survival to fully human. However, we must not leave out the most basic needs which include: safe place to lay one’s head at night for rest, and also food and water in the belly.

Here is truth: When we offer to β€˜the other’ kindness, compassion, safety, food and water – we feed ourselves also.   Until we understand this truth, we ourselves will always be afraid and suffer lack – irrespective of the money in our personal coffers.

β€œβ€¦.in meeting the man with a liberal heart, tranquility of soul shall be thine. For while he doth give to another his dole, the liberal man himself doth feel the shame of the other, his language and tone are delicious; the kindnesses done thee he ne'er will recall, to oblivion they all are consigned.”
