Summer approaches -
Early fruit ripens with sun –
Taste of things to come.

Sometimes, with berries especially, we are given a foretaste of the life to come, an opportunity to assess. Have we over watered diluting the sweetness of the fruit? Have we underwatered creating undersized body and dry pulp to the fruit? Or have we created the correct balance to create and bring about the best possible berries?
Because of the nature of berry production if we are observant and discerning we can make changes through the growing season to improve outcome.
Let us juxtapose these thoughts to the garden of human earth life. Let us assess the trajectory of the life we have been given.
Where do you want to be in 5 years, 25 years or 50 years?
Each day, each moment the journey begins anew. Each choice – some oh so small and some huge create change or increased focus to the trajectory of our life.
As I look at the challenges many face, without the benefit of spiritual path, I feel such empathy for them. The task of creating positive change in their life must feel daunting. Without a spiritual discipline pulling oneself up and out of the mire must be arduous. The seeds of their intentions are scattered to the wind – falling where they may.
Yet, with even a little intention, focus, prayer we can begin the journey towards the light … towards the creation of goodness.
