Facing into the sun.
Warm on my closed eyelids.
This time is enough.

In the moment – the moment – it is just fine. Sometimes in the middle of a crisis, when all about appears to be in chaos - in the very center of the event - there can be a stillness. If we are alert we will feel it. Do you remember as a small child a time when you were ill or frightened and then a parent or a grandparent took you in their arms or touched your heart or your forehead with their hand and instantly you were safe – cradled in love – no matter what was ahead?
Two times in my life, I have been in major car accidents and in – the moment – before impact each time, there has been -a moment- of utter and complete peace. In each case – that moment – lasted a long time. Everyone has had those moments. Everyone. It may not have been a collision of vehicles; however, it has been something BIG and always we have been offered a moment of grace to carry us through. If you think that you have not seen this yet, it is only that you have not remembered. Those times have come before and they will come again. The next time, seek to remember. The grace of that infinite moment will sustain and carry you through the years ahead.
This earth walk is full to overflowing with what some would call miracles. Those miracles are not reserved for a precious few. With eyes to see and ears to hear become aware of the profound love and protection always with you.

Next time you find yourself in one of 

– those moments of chaos – 

take a breath

 – somewhere in the middle of it all – 

there it is 

– the moment of grace -
