


Clearly, I see you -
God’s beloved child
Yet, you do not see.



You think you are hard -
And sodden with cracked mud,
So ugly and mean.



Can you not see -
Stars trailing from your fingers,
All you touch responds.



Even the Earth sighs –
Eager for a loving touch,
You could bring healing.



You are God’s toddler –
Just learning to carry light,
Expectant, we wait.
