August 15, 2018 WARRIOR and GOD'S LITTLE ONE

Through lineage – warrior!
Through mind – sharp laser focus.
Through heart – God’s little one.

Bow slung on my shoulder and quiver full of arrows along side the bow. Ever are we ready, to turn and focus intention and attention in the direction of the true heart.
In my art room, sitting on the floor and leaning against other pieces – a small painting that thus far (after 15 plus years) has never felt quite complete. A few times it has been hung on the wall as I ruminate on the piece. It is of an archer – pulling back on an arrow set in place on the bow. I do not show the archer’s face – yet I know – he is looking out with long vision far off and honing-in on the direction to let the arrow fly. He is not in a hurry. He is slow. He is methodical in his looking whereby he seeks to truly see and know the absolute focal point needed to hit target. There is no string on his bow. None is needed as it is his will-power and focus which will ultimately guide the arrow to its true home.
Someday this piece will be complete. Whether the canvas piece is completed is another question entirely. Ha!

We got this! We were born for this time. As warriors traveling through time, space and incarnation, we look out through eyes given to kindness and ‘thank you’. All is unfolding just as it should. We wait and prepare for the moment shown to us to step forward – raise our bows and with drawn arrow – shoot.

Confused by body.
Tied in a knot by the mind.
Only heart speaks true.

In the place of the quiet heart, what is true becomes evident. This is not to say the body and the mind can not offer sometimes accurate and helpful information – because they sometimes can. However, they also sometimes lead astray. Know, the heart in repose beats for truth and whispers guidance in your ear if you will but listen.
